What happens next
- Up to four contractors can take your job — expect calls or messages, often quickly. The fastest usually wins the work.
- Every contractor here has already been vetted by WaterTrust — accreditation and public liability insurance are checked before approval.
- As with any trade work, it's good practice to ask to see ID, their accreditation and insurance — reputable contractors are happy to show them.
- Get a written quote before work starts, and be wary of paying in full up front.

Is this free for me?
Yes — WaterTrust is completely free for customers. There are no fees ever for posting a job or being matched with contractors.
Who will contact me?
Only the WaterTrust-approved contractors listed on this page may contact you about your job. They're vetted and approved by us before they can take on work. If anyone else contacts you claiming to be WaterTrust-approved, please report them above.
How many contractors will contact me?
Up to 4. We recommend comparing quotes so you can choose the contractor that's right for you — there's never any obligation to accept any quote.
How long until someone contacts me?
You may receive a response within minutes — especially if your job is marked as urgent — but it can take a day or two. Add your email above and we'll let you know as soon as contractors match to your job.
What if no one has contacted me yet?
Your job is live and being shown to approved contractors in your area. It can take a little time for the right contractor to pick it up. Adding your email above means you'll hear the moment one does.
Someone contacted me who isn't listed here
Only the contractors shown on this page should be contacting you. If a business gets in touch claiming to be WaterTrust-approved but isn't listed, please use "Report an unknown contractor" above so we can investigate.
How do I stop contractors contacting me?
Use "Remove my request" above and enter your reason. Once removed, your job is no longer shown to contractors.
Is my information safe?
Your details are only ever shared with the approved, vetted contractors who take on your job — shown on this page. They're never sold or shared elsewhere.
